ANGO · personal data and cookies

01Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Ango sp. z o.o., ul. Topolowa 36, 64-530 Kaźmierz, Poland, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 787-210-82-84 (hereinafter “ANGO” or the “Controller”).

You can contact us by email at [email protected] or by post at the address above.

This policy applies to your use of the ANGO website and to your contact with us in connection with our offer.

The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For matters concerning personal data protection, please contact ANGO directly at the email address above.

02What data we process

You can contact ANGO by email or telephone. The website does not have a contact form. We process the information you provide in correspondence or during a telephone conversation, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name, information about your planned project and materials sent by email.

When you use the website, technical data may also be processed, including your IP address, connection time, the page address visited, information about your device and browser, and identifiers associated with the tools described below.

03Purposes and legal bases

Contact and handling enquiries

We respond to messages on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is conducting correspondence and assisting people interested in our offer, including company representatives.

Preparing an offer at your request

If you are a prospective party to a contract and ask us to prepare an offer, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. This legal basis also covers processing necessary to perform a contract with you.

Security and legal claims

Maintaining website security, preventing abuse, and establishing, pursuing or defending legal claims are our legitimate interests within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Legal obligations

If our contact leads to cooperation, we process data required for settlements on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, in connection with our tax and accounting obligations.

Analytics and optional technologies

The legal basis for processing personal data for optional analytics is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Where consent is required to store or access information on your device, it is obtained in accordance with Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law.

04How long we retain data

We retain ordinary correspondence relating to a project for the duration of the work and for 6 months after it is completed. If an enquiry does not lead to a project, we retain the correspondence for 6 months from the last exchange of messages in that matter. After these periods, we delete the data unless a separate legal basis requires us to retain it for longer.

The 6-month period does not apply to records that we are required to retain under tax or accounting regulations. We retain data needed to handle a complaint or to establish, pursue or defend specific legal claims only to the extent necessary and for a justified period, taking applicable statutory limitation periods into account. This does not automatically extend the retention period for all correspondence.

Withdrawing consent ends processing based on that consent but does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Information needed to demonstrate that consent was given or withdrawn may be subject to a separate retention period.

The cookie consent panel is configured to remember your choice for 365 days. This does not mean that we retain correspondence, analytics data or consent history on our servers for the same period.

05Recipients of personal data

At ANGO, correspondence and customer data are accessible only to authorised employees who need them to perform their duties. We do not make this data available to external parties for day-to-day customer service. Technical processing by our hosting, email and online tool providers is described below. Data may also be disclosed to entities legally entitled to receive it.

Processors acting on our behalf do so under appropriate agreements. External service providers may act as independent controllers within a specific scope.

The website uses hosting provided by home.pl S.A. and services from Google and the OpenStreetMap Foundation, as described in section 08. Correspondence data are handled by the provider supplying ANGO’s email service.

06Transfers outside the EEA

Using services provided by international providers may involve processing data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google describes the safeguards it uses in its data transfer framework information, including the use of applicable adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses.

The OpenStreetMap Foundation states that map tiles are served through a global network of servers. Information about processing and data location is available in the OSMF Privacy Policy.

07Cookies and your choices

Cookies are small files stored on your device. The website may also use similar technologies to store and access information.

  • Necessary cookies support functions required to provide the service you request, such as remembering your consent choices.
  • Optional cookies support additional purposes, such as analytics or third-party features. Where consent is required, they are used only after you have made your choice.

You can accept or reject optional technologies. You can change your choice using the “Consent Preferences” panel available on the website. Rejecting optional technologies should not prevent access to the basic content; some third-party features may remain unavailable.

You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Deleting cookies from your device does not delete all data previously provided to a service provider.

The CookieYes panel manages your choices. Its configuration remembers a decision for 365 days. You can reopen the panel using the “Consent Preferences” button.

Remembering consent and language choices

  • cookieyes-consent is a CookieYes consent-management cookie that stores your consent choices. It supports the handling of those choices and is classified as necessary. Domain: the ANGO website you visit. Duration: 1 year.
  • pll_language is a Polylang cookie that remembers the language of the website you are viewing. It supports your language preference. Domain: the ANGO website you visit. Duration: 1 year.

08Third-party services

Google Analytics

The website integrates Google Analytics to analyse how the service is used. The tool may process online identifiers, events on the website and device information. Further details are available in Google’s Privacy Policy.

YouTube

An embedded YouTube video is available on the “Production” page. Loading the player may disclose your IP address and browser data to the provider. The provider’s practices are described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

OpenStreetMap

The map on the Contact page uses tiles served from tile.openstreetmap.org through the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s infrastructure. Loading the map involves sending connection data, such as your IP address and browser information. Further details are available in the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.

Fonts and libraries

The website loads the Poppins font through Google Fonts and technical resources from cdn.jsdelivr.net and cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Loading an external resource requires a connection to its provider’s server, which receives data such as your IP address.

Social media

The links in the footer lead to ANGO profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. When you visit those services, their operators’ policies apply.

We use Google Analytics for statistics. The configured retention period for the data covered by this setting is 2 months, and this period is not extended by new activity. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. In this configuration, we do not use advertising features or remarketing in Google Analytics. Analytics runs only after consent. The retention setting does not apply to all aggregated reports.

09Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your data and a copy of it, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing.

Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes.

Where processing is carried out by automated means and is based on your consent or a contract, you may exercise your right to data portability for the data you have provided to us. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, email us at [email protected]. We respond without undue delay and, as a rule, within one month. If the GDPR allows us to extend this period, we will inform you and explain why.

You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). Information about submitting a complaint is available at uodo.gov.pl.

10Is providing data mandatory?

Providing data in an enquiry is voluntary. However, without contact details or information about your enquiry, we may be unable to respond or prepare an offer. Data necessary for a contract are required to enter into or perform it, and the law may require us to collect settlement and accounting data.

Consent to optional analytics is not a condition for contacting us or viewing our offer.

11Advertising and remarketing

We do not use remarketing, meaning advertising targeted at people based on their previous visits to our website. We do not use website data to create profiles for such advertising.

12Policy updates

We update this policy when the website, our data-processing practices or applicable laws change. The current version is available on this page. Updating the policy does not replace obtaining new consent where consent is required.
